SBB line between Romont and Chénens interrupted

Rail traffic on the Lausanne-Freiburg line has been interrupted between Romont and Chénens FR since Tuesday evening. The reason is a catenary fault. There are cancellations and delays, as the SBB announced on the short message service X. Traffic will remain disrupted until at least 9 a.m. on Wednesday.
SBB reportedly had to replace a thousand meters of cable. All repair teams were deployed in the evening. SBB deployed replacement buses between Romont and Fribourg. Travelers between Geneva, Geneva Airport, Lausanne, Olten, Aarau, Zurich, Lucerne, Zofingen and Sursee and Basel had to travel via Biel.
Passengers traveling between Geneva Airport, Geneva, Lausanne and Fribourg were rerouted via Yverdon-les-Bains. Buses connected Bulle and Fribourg.
