Schoolchild killed in an accident during stable work in Belp

A schoolchild had a fatal accident while working in a stable in Belp late on Saturday afternoon. Despite immediate rescue measures, the child died at the scene.
A care team from the canton of Bern was deployed to support the relatives and people affected, as the cantonal police announced on Monday. According to initial findings, an accident was the main cause. The police did not provide any details about the course of the accident in the press release.
