Second summer weekend in April after temperature rollercoaster

The second weekend in April also brought summer weather again - after a cold shower in between, after temperatures had dropped by up to 20 degrees on Wednesday. On Saturday, temperatures above 25 degrees were widespread.
The thermometer rose to 27.3 degrees in Chur and 27.1 degrees in Biasca in Ticino. Visp in Valais and Delsberg in the Jura recorded 26.1 degrees, as the weather service Meteonews reported in the evening. It was also 25.9 degrees in Basel.
Some measuring stations at medium altitudes even recorded new April temperature records. These were mainly in the Jura.
It could get a little warmer on Sunday before next week brings another significant cooling of 15 to 20 degrees.
