SP Co-President Cédric Wermuth takes family leave

Aargau SP National Councillor Cédric Wermuth, Co-President of the SP Switzerland, is taking a family break after the end of the winter session on December 22. The 37-year-old politician made the announcement on Friday on the X platform, formerly Twitter.
According to Wermuth, the family break will last until the start of the spring session on February 26 of next year. "I will not be available to the public during this time," Wermuth continued. He thanked Co-President and Zurich National Councillor Mattea Meyer. She made this possible.
Wermuth lives with his family in Zofingen AG. He and his wife have two children. He has been Co-President of the SP Switzerland since October 2020.
