SP Switzerland congratulates Labor Party on “impressive election victory”

On Friday night, the SP Switzerland congratulated the British Labor Party on its success in the general election. In a post on the short message platform X, the SP spoke of an "impressive election victory". The success shows that change is possible.
SP Co-President Cédric Wermuth also congratulated the British Labor Party via X and spoke of a "landslide victory" for the SP's "sister party". Zurich SP National Councillor Fabian Molina congratulated the Labour Party in English and wrote that its success was important for the whole of Europe.
In his contribution to X, Jean Tschopp, SP National Councillor from Vaud, pointed to the success of the right-wing nationalists in France. Now the Labour Party is winning in the UK with an election campaign that focused on access to care, a strong public service and the fight against inflation.
