The St. Gallen Prosecutor's Office has received reports from several potential victims regarding the alleged abuse at an evangelical private school in Kaltbrunn SG. In the coming weeks, the first interviews are planned. According to the spokesperson of the St. Gallen Prosecutor's Office, no formal complaint has been filed yet. The alleged sexual offense must be examined to determine if it is past the statute of limitations.

In a recent report by Swiss Radio and Television (SRF), a woman made serious allegations against the evangelical private school "Domino Servite" in Kaltbrunn SG. She claimed to have been raped by a teacher when she was 12 years old.

In a statement released on Wednesday, the St. Gallen Education Department revealed that an ex-member of the community had reported abuses, including physical punishment, as early as 1999. The investigation by the school authorities was difficult at the time because the parents and school staff had covered up for each other in the religious community.
