Retailers Coop, Denner and Migros have recalled various trout products due to a potential health risk posed by the presence of Listeria bacteria. Affected products include smoked ASC and Prix Garantie trout fillets, fish platters and salads with trout from Coop, M-Classic trout fillets natural and with pepper from Migros, and smoked trout fillets from Denner. Customers are advised not to consume these products and can return them to a store for a full refund. Listeria monocytogenes infection usually causes mild or no symptoms in people with an intact immune system, according to the Swiss Federal Office for Food Safety and Veterinary Affairs. However, in immunocompromised individuals, it can cause severe symptoms and even death.nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
