Suspect released from custody in Schaffhausen after Sarco operation

A suspect in connection with the use of the Sarco suicide capsule in Merishausen SH has been released from custody. The public prosecutor no longer accuses the co-president of "The Last Resort" of having committed an intentional homicide.
Based on the latest state of the investigation, there is still a strong suspicion of incitement and aiding and abetting suicide, as the public prosecutor's office in Schaffhausen announced on Monday.
The Sarco suicide capsule was used in the canton of Schaffhausen at the end of September. Several people were arrested afterwards. The co-president of the organization "The Last Resort" was in custody until Monday.
