Swiss appoints new Head of Sales for the Switzerland region

The airline Swiss has appointed Julia Wetter-Studinka as its new Head of Sales for the Swiss region with effect from September 1. In this role, she will be responsible for the commercial sales activities of all Lufthansa Group passenger airlines in Switzerland, as Swiss announced on Friday.
Wetter-Studinka replaces Marco Willa, who is taking on a new role within the Lufthansa Group. A native of Zurich with Swiss and German citizenship, she has been with the Lufthansa Group since 2018 and has been responsible for commercial relations with corporate customers and travel management companies (TMCs) in the Swiss market at Swiss since April 2024. In her new role, she will report to Heike Birlenbach, Chief Commercial Officer at Swiss.
