From Wednesday, selected artists will be presenting around 60 short performances at the Künstlerbörse in Thun. The event aims to connect creative artists, event organizers and agencies in the independent performing arts sector.

This year's Artists' Exchange will be opened on April 17 by cabaret artist Dominic Deville, actress and author Rébecca Balestra and the yodeling choir Echo vom Eierstock. Jane Mumford and Renato Kaiser will host the evening in the Schadausaal of the Culture and Congress Center, and Federal Councillor Elisabeth Baume-Schneider is also expected to attend.

After the opening gala, around 60 selected national and international artists and ensembles will give an insight into their work in short twenty-minute performances from April 18 to 20 at the Thun Culture and Congress Center and Gymnasium Thun.

Performing arts genres ranging from theater and dance, comedy and spoken word, cabaret and music to contemporary circus and performance are presented.

The Artists' Exchange is organized by the professional association "t. Theaterschaffen Schweiz".
