Swiss Cancels Special Flights to Tel Aviv for Saturday

Swiss Airlines has cancelled two evacuation flights scheduled for Saturday due to security concerns. This decision was made after the Israeli government's ultimatum to Hamas expired on Saturday morning. The airline stated that they had made the decision with a heavy heart, but the safety of passengers and crew had to be their top priority. They also wanted to avoid having to cancel the flights at the last minute, which would leave passengers stranded at Tel Aviv airport and exposed to greater risks. The fourth evacuation flight scheduled for Friday evening is still going ahead. Swiss Airlines had already suspended their regular flights between Zurich and Tel Aviv last Saturday and announced on Thursday that they would be extending the suspension until at least October 22nd.
