Swiss stock market starts the day cautiously

At the start of trading on Tuesday, the Swiss stock market was barely able to recover from the price slump of the last few days. The leading SMI index advanced by just 0.1 percent to 11,557 points. In contrast, the Nikkei index in Tokyo, which had recently fallen sharply, made strong gains.
