Teenager stabs a 15-year-old to death in Aesch BL

A 15-year-old teenager was stabbed to death in Aesch BL on Saturday night. The police arrested an 18-year-old as the suspected perpetrator.
As the Basel-Landschaft police announced on Saturday, the teenager was attacked with a stabbing weapon near a school building. The 15-year-old Swiss boy was so seriously injured that he died on the spot.
Shortly afterwards, the police were able to arrest the alleged perpetrator, an 18-year-old Swiss man. The background to the crime is still unclear.
