In 2024, the average monthly premium for adults aged 26 and over will increase by 33.80 Swiss francs or 8.6 percent to 426.70 Swiss francs, according to the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health (BAG). However, there are significant differences between the cantons. The increase of 33.80 Swiss francs is the highest since the introduction of the health insurance system in 1996.
