The Selected National Council Members in the Canton of Thurgau

The Canton of Thurgau has elected six people to the National Council in the recent election. Kurt Egger (Green) was not re-elected. The newly elected members are:

1. Thomas Aeschi (SVP): Aeschi is a lawyer and a member of the Swiss People's Party. He was elected for the first time and is the only SVP representative from Thurgau in the National Council.

2. Beat Flach (FDP): Flach is a businessman and a member of the Free Democratic Party. He was re-elected for a second term.

3. Thomas Hardegger (CVP): Hardegger is a farmer and a member of the Christian Democratic People's Party. He was re-elected for a second term.

4. Thomas Hurter (SP): Hurter is a teacher and a member of the Social Democratic Party. He was re-elected for a second term.

5. Thomas Müller (GLP): Müller is a lawyer and a member of the Green Liberal Party. He was elected for the first time.

6. Thomas Vogt (BDP): Vogt is a businessman and a member of the Bourgeois Democratic Party. He was re-elected for a second term.

The Canton of Thurgau has elected six people to the National Council in the recent election. Kurt Egger (Green) was not re-elected. The newly elected members are Thomas Aeschi (SVP), Beat Flach (FDP), Thomas Hardegger (CVP), Thomas Hurter (SP), Thomas Müller (GLP) and Thomas Vogt (BDP). Aeschi is the only SVP representative from Thurgau in the National Council, while the other five members were either re-elected for a second term or elected for the first time.
