These are the nominees at the Solothurn Film Festival

Every year, the Solothurn Film Festival honors Swiss filmmaking with three main prizes. The nominees for the "Prix de Soleure", the "Prix du Public" and the "Visioni" prize were announced on Wednesday. The prizes will be awarded at the 60th edition.
Four documentaries and two feature films have been nominated for the "Prix de Soleure", the main prize worth 60,000 francs:
- "Excavator Drama" by Piet Baumgartner
- Dom" by Svetlana Rodina and Laurent Stoop
- "Hôtel Silence" by Léa Pool
- "The Drina Boy" von Zijad Ibrahimovic
- "Immortals" by Maja Tschumi
- "Under mango trees" by Damaris Lüthi
The audience chooses the winner of the "Prix du Public". Eight films have been nominated for the prize, which is worth CHF 20,000:
- "Behind The Glass" by Olga Dinnikova
- "Dud" by Kerstin Polte
- "The Iceman" Corina Gamma
- "The legacy of Bruno Stefanini" by Thomas Haemmerli
- "Naima" by Anna Thommen
- "Quir" von Nicola Bellucci
- "Road's End In Taiwan" von Maria Nicollier
- "We heirs" by Simon Baumann
The "Visioni" jury prize, also endowed with 20,000 francs, honors a feature-length first or second work. Seven films are nominated here:
- "Pictures in the head" by Eleonora Camizzi
- "Galaxi Urnäsch 3000" by Lasse Linder, Nina Fritz, Lola Scurlock and Felix Scherer
- "Milk teeth" by Sophia Bösch
- "Norma Dorma" by Lorenz Suter
- "Osteria at eleven" von Filippo Demarchi
- "Tamina - When was it always like this?" by Beat Oswald, Lena Hatebur and Samuel Weniger
- "Vracht" by Max Carlo Kohal
