Thousands of techno fans gather at the Zurich Street Parade

Tens of thousands of techno fans gathered in Zurich even before the Street Parade began. The colorful parade around the lake started on time.
The music has been playing on seven stages along the route since 1 pm. The largest stage on Sechseläutenplatz attracted a particularly large crowd and the party was in full swing early on. At 2 p.m., the first of the 28 Love Mobiles set off at a leisurely pace from Utoquai.
This Saturday's glorious weather is likely to attract many people. Last year, the world's biggest techno party attracted around 920,000 people despite a downpour shortly before the start, according to the organizers' estimates.
The approximately two-kilometre-long parade route along Zurich's lake basin is used for partying and dancing until midnight. Afterwards, the action shifts to the parties taking place in numerous clubs.
