A 20-year-old trans woman from the sex trade has to answer to the Zurich District Court today for attempted grievous bodily harm. The accused Romanian woman, who is in the process of physically adapting to her gender identity, stabbed a dissatisfied punter several times with a knife.

According to the indictment, after exchanging chat messages, the punter had assumed that he would meet a woman in a Zurich apartment on March 9, 2023. He had also assumed this when he was lying naked on the bed.

However, the sex worker was biologically a man who was in the process of gender reassignment and was already visually perceived as a woman.

However, when the sex worker then refused to strip completely naked, the client wanted to break off the meeting and demanded his money back, the 100 francs he had given her in advance.

Stabbed in the thigh with a knife

"The accused then grabbed a kitchen knife," the indictment states. She suddenly stabbed the suitor several times in both thighs with the knife.

There was no immediate danger to the 33-year-old Swiss man's life as a result of his injuries. However, a knife thrust could also have hit an artery, which could have led to major blood loss. The public prosecutor's office is therefore demanding a conviction for attempted grievous bodily harm. Like the defense, it will present its other motions at the trial.
