A truck leaked 200 liters of diesel from its fuel tank in the canton of Zug, leaving a slippery trail on the road that stretched for miles. One car crashed as a result. In addition, manholes had to be pumped out and an oil barrier set up in Lake Zug.

According to the Zug law enforcement authorities, a 21-year-old driver drove from Sihlbrugg via Baar to the city of Zug. Because the truck's fuel tank had a hole in it, around 200 liters of diesel leaked onto the road during the journey.

According to the law enforcement authorities, the fuel had made the roads slippery. One car crashed into the crash barrier as a result. The 59-year-old driver was slightly injured.

The roads contaminated with diesel were cleaned. Because diesel had also entered the sewer system, manholes had to be pumped out. The fire department also set up an oil barrier at the confluence of the Fridbach and Lake Zug.
