Two Dead in Car Accident on Schwägalpstrasse in Urnäsch AR

Two 18-year-old passengers of a car died in a serious car accident on the way from Urnäsch AR to Schwägalp in the night of Saturday. Two other passengers were injured and had to be taken to a hospital. At around 3am, four people were travelling from Urnäsch towards Schwägalp when the driver lost control of the car in a right-hand curve and veered off the road. The car then overturned and came to a stop in the riverbed of Urnäsch, lying on its roof. Two of the passengers, aged 18 and 21, were able to leave the vehicle and were taken to hospital by helicopter and ambulance.
