According to the first forecast, the Swiss federal deficit for 2023 is expected to be only 1.5 billion francs instead of the budgeted 4.8 billion francs. This is due to the fact that the 4 billion franc rescue package for the electricity industry is likely to be unnecessary. The Swiss government has welcomed this news, as it will help to reduce the national debt and provide more financial stability. The government has also stated that it will use the savings to invest in infrastructure and other projects that will benefit the Swiss economy. This is a positive development for the country, as it will help to create jobs and stimulate economic growth.nnnnnnnnnn
