The TX Group's review of its real estate strategy is entering the next phase. According to a press release issued on Monday, it is evaluating the bundling of properties in a separate company and examining forms of cooperation with real estate companies. Talks are already underway.

The TX Group's real estate portfolio includes three newspaper printing plants in Zurich, Bern and Lausanne. According to the TX Group, print volumes are declining, which is why a change of use needs to be considered. A gradual adjustment to the declining print volumes is also possible.

The TX Group emphasized that the review of the real estate strategy and the development of the printing locations is an ongoing process. The deliberations are ongoing and have not yet been concluded. It is currently still unclear whether a transaction will materialize.

According to "NZZ am Sonntag", the TX Group has offered the three printing plant properties and offices for sale to real estate investors. According to a document seen by the newspaper, the possible closure date for the printing plant in Zurich is 2029.

According to the paper, the last of the three printing plants is due to close in 2032. The paper also knows the approximate price that the TX Group expects to pay: the figure is in the high three-digit million range.
