A powerful storm on Tuesday afternoon caused four disruptions to the Rhätische Bahn (RhB) in Graubünden. The railway lines to Arosa and Scuol, the Engadin and Davos were all affected. At around 3pm, the line from Chur to Arosa was interrupted due to a power outage. Shortly afterwards, the line between Ardez and Scuol in the Lower Engadin was also disrupted due to weather damage. The line to the Engadin from the Albulatal was also interrupted between Bergün and Preda. Finally, a tree on the tracks below Davos Glaris stopped the trains in the Landwassertal. The duration of the disruptions was still unclear late Tuesday afternoon. Replacement buses were provided while the clean-up teams worked to make the tracks usable again as soon as possible.
