Woman’s life in danger after jumping into swimming pool in Bellinzona

A 32-year-old woman suffered life-threatening injuries when she jumped from the edge of a swimming pool in the public baths of Bellinzona TI on Thursday afternoon. The Swiss woman, who lives in the region, lost consciousness after the jump.
The accident occurred shortly after 5 p.m., according to the cantonal police. After resuscitation measures, an ambulance transported the woman to hospital. According to the police, the doctors described her injuries as serious and life-threatening.
