Young scooter rider dies in accident in the canton of Geneva

A scooter rider was killed in an accident in Petit-Saconnex GE on Thursday. He collided head-on with a car in the early morning.
The impact caused him and his vehicle to be flung several meters away. The 48-year-old man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. He died there in the early afternoon, according to the Geneva cantonal police.
