A former head of an old age home in the canton of Zurich is accused of embezzling more than 2 million Swiss francs from two of his employers. He allegedly spent the money on private luxuries, including sexual services, and is now facing charges of embezzlement, forgery and misappropriation of funds with intent to enrich himself. The alleged offences took place between 2009 and 2021, with the accused using his power as a manager to withdraw large sums of cash from the accounts of the organisations he worked for. The prosecution is seeking a three-year prison sentence, with six months to be served and the remaining 30 months suspended, as well as a three-year probation period and costs of around 24,000 Swiss francs.nnnnnnnnnn
