Zurich stabber remains in custody

The 15-year-old who critically injured an orthodox Jew in Zurich is still behind bars. He will remain in custody until further notice, the juvenile prosecutor's office announced on Thursday.
Zurich cantonal police and the Office of the Juvenile Prosecutor conducted the investigation in close cooperation with other cantonal and federal authorities, the report continues.
The 15-year-old Swiss national with Tunisian roots attacked and seriously injured the 50-year-old man with a knife on the evening of March 2 in the city of Zurich. Intervening bar patrons probably saved the attacked man's life. The alleged perpetrator claimed allegiance to the so-called Islamic State.
