A pioneering study in Zurich, engaging 7500 volunteers, aims to shed light on cannabis consumption and inform future regulations.
7500 people are to take part in a study on cannabis consumption in the canton of Zurich. The University of Zurich and ETH Zurich are also taking part in the project presented on Monday.
The study will last five years. The aim is to be able to talk about the regulation of cannabis, according to Paul-Lukas Good, President of the Swiss Cannabis Research association responsible for the study.
Participants in 34 municipalities in Zurich will be able to obtain cannabis from May 2024. The city of Zurich launched a similar project last year.
