Sulzer recently celebrated the opening of a new test and assembly centre, located adjacent to its existing pump factory in Mexico City claims a press release.

Sulzer is a global fluid engineering leader specialising in energy-efficient technologies for fluid processing, including pumping and separation. Starting in Winterthur, Switzerland in 1834. They operates 180 facilities worldwide.

This modern facility is equipped with a 10-meter-deep hydraulic test rig for large pumps, a digital monitoring system, and a dedicated packaging area, a significant extension of Sulzer Pumps Mexico’s production capabilities for large-scale pumps.

This expansion is aimed at addressing the increasing demand for infrastructure across North, Central, and South America.

Situated in Cuautitlan Izcalli within the Mexico City metropolitan area, Sulzer’s site is poised to test and assemble high-performance fluid technology, supporting new infrastructure projects throughout the Americas.
