Adelaïde Group Surges with 18% Growth in 2023

Adelaïde Group’s initiatives and acquisitions fuel an impressive 18% growth, positioning themselves as a serious player in the European market.

The Adelaïde Group has shown impressive growth, notably extending 25% of its operations outside France through strategic European acquisitions.

Over the last four years, the Group has made nine significant acquisitions, including in Switzerland, strengthening its position in the European insurance market​ according to a press release​​​.

Jacques Verlingue, the Group’s Chairman, credits this success to the team’s hard work and the Group’s resilience.

Verlingue, focusing on corporate protection, grew 19% to €285 million in 2023, with half of this growth being organic. This subsidiary has expanded into Italy and the UK, showcasing a successful growth strategy​.

Génération, another subsidiary, contributed to the Group’s growth with an 18% increase in turnover, reaching €102 million in 2023. This expansion has broadened its reach, covering over 2.4 million health insurance beneficiaries and 1.1 million under personal accident insurance​.

2023 marked a significant year for Cocoon, specialising in individual health and personal protection insurance, with the welcoming of Fanny Ridet as CEO. Cocoon aims to be a leader in digital health insurance solutions, and a turnover of €13 million​​.
