21st Short Film Night Tour starts on March 22 in Zurich

The short film night tour starts on March 22 at the Riffraff cinema in Zurich. The program will then make stops in eleven other German-speaking Swiss cities as well as in French-speaking Switzerland and Ticino. In each city, the Short Film Night Tour presents a local premiere by filmmakers from the region.

Following the local premieres in the presence of the filmmakers, there will be an opportunity for a discussion between the audience and the filmmakers, the organizers announced in a press release on Friday.

A total of four programs will be shown. The "Swiss Shorts" program, for example, takes in "different corners and film genres of Switzerland", while the "Darlings of the European Film Award" program takes a closer look at European filmmaking.

In addition to Zurich, the short film night tour will stop in Basel, Chur and Bern. The stops and respective dates for French-speaking Switzerland and Ticino are not yet known.
