Beat Balzli Appointed as New Editor-in-Chief of “NZZ am Sonntag”

Beat Balzli has been appointed as the new Editor-in-Chief of the "NZZ am Sonntag". The former Editor-in-Chief of the "WirtschaftsWoche" will take up the position on November 1st. His task will be to strengthen the collaboration between the "NZZ am Sonntag" and the "Neue Zürcher Zeitung", as the NZZ announced on Wednesday. The two editorial teams will work more closely together in the future and take advantage of synergies. The departments of Economy and Knowledge/Science, Technology and Mobility are being merged. Layout and Production Editing, Newsroom, Art Direction and Image are also being combined.
