British Walker Killed in Fall in Valais

A 63-year-old British man died on Friday after falling from the Fenêtre d' Arpette in the Valais region of Switzerland. The man had been hiking with a companion on the Tour du Mont Blanc since the beginning of the week. On Friday, while descending a steep hiking path from the Fenêtre d' Arpette, the 63-year-old fell around 100 meters to his death. Rescue teams were unable to save him and the Swiss State Prosecutor has launched an investigation into the incident.
