Cassis: “We need accompanying domestic policy measures”

According to Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis, Switzerland will not be able to achieve all of the negotiation objectives through foreign policy. "That's why we have to find accompanying domestic policy measures."

Cassis said this to the media in Bern on Friday. Both the success of the negotiations with Brussels and the acceptance of the result in Switzerland are important. "Both are difficult." But one thing is clear: "The more we achieve with the EU, the less we have to compensate domestically."
