Editor-in-chief of “Le Matin Dimanche” leaves Tamedia

Ariane Dayer, editor-in-chief of Tamedia's newspaper "Le Matin Dimanche" in French-speaking Switzerland, has left the company at the end of February. The journalist from Valais will devote herself to "new projects", according to a press release issued by Tamedia on Tuesday.

The Board of Directors and the Management Board of Tamedia thanked Ariane Dayer, a "talented, courageous and demanding journalist", for her many years of cooperation and wished her all the best for her professional and private future.

It was not yet known on Tuesday who her successor at the helm of "Le Matin Dimanche" would be. Further information will be announced "in due course", the press release continued.
