Swiss Airlines is operating a fourth special flight from Zurich to Tel Aviv and back on Friday in cooperation with the Swiss Department of Foreign Affairs. The flight is only bookable through a special hotline provided by the Department. The flight will depart Zurich at 11am and arrive in Tel Aviv at 4pm, with the return flight departing at 5pm and arriving in Zurich at 8.20pm. Swiss Airlines is using an Airbus A321neo, which has 215 seats, rather than their largest aircraft, the Boeing 777-300ER. The special flights are subject to constant monitoring by external and internal security experts, and the Airbus aircrafts are taking extra fuel in case of emergency. A technical specialist is also travelling on the flight in the cockpit to avoid taking up a seat in the cabin.
