Lucky guy wins a five-year pension in the Eurodreams lottery

Updated at 01 Apr 2024 9:40 pm

A lucky player won a monthly pension of 2222 francs over five years in the Eurodreams lottery on Monday evening. He or she had ticked the six correct numbers 3, 13, 24, 28, 36 and 39, but not the "dream number" 4, as Loterie Romande announced.

The hit was made in France - one of the eight European countries that offer the game. In addition to France, these are Switzerland, Belgium, Ireland, Luxembourg, Austria, Portugal and Spain.

The Eurodreams game has been available in Switzerland since October 2023. In German-speaking Switzerland, it is operated by Swisslos and in French-speaking Switzerland by Loterie Romande. The draw for the game takes place on Monday and Thursday evenings.

The main prize is a monthly pension of 22,222 francs for 30 years. You have to guess the six correct numbers as well as a "dream number".
