Man Killed by Knife Stab in Geneva

On Friday evening in Geneva, a man was killed by a stab wound. According to the Tribune de Genève, the incident occurred around 8:15 pm at Quai des Forces Motrices. A suspect has been taken into custody. The Geneva prosecutor's office confirmed to the Keystone-SDA news agency that a man had died as a result of an attack with a sharp weapon. The alleged perpetrator was arrested shortly after the attack. No further details were initially provided by the authorities. The attack took place on the banks of the Rhone. The corresponding area is known as a drug distribution point.
