Police find dead man at St. Gallen St. Fiden train station

The St. Gallen city police found a lifeless person on the ground near St. Fiden railroad station early on Thursday morning. According to a statement, the deceased was a 44-year-old North Macedonian with no fixed abode.

The cause of death is unclear, the cantonal police wrote in a statement. Neither a homicide nor a suicide is in the foreground, a police spokesperson explained at the request of the Keystone-SDA news agency. The public prosecutor's office of the canton of St.Gallen has ordered an autopsy of the body.
