Swiss Couple Killed in Accident on Sardinia.

Two Swiss nationals died on Monday morning in a traffic accident in southern Sardinia. The man and woman, who were travelling in a Ferrari, apparently collided while overtaking a oncoming motorhome. The Italian media reported that the married couple, aged 67 and 63, had passed away at the scene of the accident. A tragic accident occurred in the town of San Giovanni Suergiu. According to police reports, a sports car collided with another vehicle, was thrown off the road, overturned, and caught fire. According to reports, a Lamborghini that was following a Ferrari also veered off the road. Fortunately, the occupants of the car did not suffer any serious injuries. The same is true for the tourists in the camper. The Swiss couple apparently took part in a sports car meeting, the "Sardinia Supercar Experience". The participants started in Teulada and were heading to Olbia in the north of the island.
