Tamedia Cuts 28 Jobs in Western Switzerland

Tamedia, a media company, has announced that it will be cutting 28 jobs in the West Switzerland region. Affected employees are those working for the newspapers "24 heures" and "Tribune de Genève". Christine Gabella, head of West Switzerland for Tamedia, made the announcement on Wednesday in Lausanne. The staff were informed of the restructuring on Wednesday and a consultation process has been initiated.
