Tamedia Cuts Up to 28 Jobs in Western Switzerland

Tamedia, a Swiss media company, is restructuring its operations in the West of Switzerland, with the aim of saving 3.5 million francs. This will result in up to 28 job losses across all titles and functions. The employees were informed of the restructuring on Wednesday, and a consultation process has been initiated. There may be fewer job losses at the end of the process. The employees and media in the German-speaking part of Switzerland will be informed of the reorganisation on Thursday.
