Tree blocks Meiringen-Brienz railroad line in the Bernese Oberland

A fallen tree interrupted rail traffic on the route from Lucerne to Interlaken Ost between Meiringen and Brienz in the canton of Bern on Friday. The duration of the disruption is undetermined.

The PE and R70 lines are affected, SBB announced on X on Friday afternoon. Delays and cancellations are to be expected. Travelers between Lucerne and Interlaken Ost BE are advised to travel via Bern.
