Two young men arrested for drug trafficking in Ticino

Two young men were arrested last Wednesday in the Locarno TI region for drug trafficking. During a search of their homes, the Ticino cantonal police found 12.5 kilograms of hashish, 1.5 kilograms of marijuana, hemp seeds and 30,100 Swiss francs, among other things, according to a statement on Friday.

The suspects are two men with Swiss citizenship, aged 18 and 20. They are accused of a serious violation of the Narcotics Act and money laundering, the police reported.
