Woman in Arbon TG Seriously Injured by Knife Stabs

On Friday afternoon in Arbon, Switzerland, a woman was seriously injured by knife wounds. The police arrested a suspect. According to initial findings, the 43-year-old woman was attacked at a property on St. Gallerstrasse at around 4:15 pm. An ambulance team took her to the hospital. Shortly after the attack, the alleged perpetrator presented himself to the authorities at the police station in Arbon. He is a 54-year-old Iranian man. The motives behind the attack are still unclear. The District Attorney of Bischofszell has opened a criminal investigation and questioned the man on Saturday morning. She will apply for detention for the suspect.
