Woman Seriously Injured in House Fire in Vétroz VS

A 77-year-old woman was seriously injured in a house fire in Vétroz VS early Saturday morning. Residents of the house noticed the fire in the woman's studio on the ground floor and immediately used fire extinguishers to put it out. They were able to rescue their neighbour from the studio, according to the Valais cantonal police. The woman was then flown by helicopter to the Lausanne University Hospital. The public prosecutor's office has launched an investigation in cooperation with the cantonal police.nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
