Young SVP Thurgau Examines Party Expulsion of “Young Tat” Member

The Young SVP of the Canton of Thurgau is examining the expulsion of a member who is also part of the right-wing extremist group "Young Tat". The party is responding to a publication by the "Sonntagsblick". The Sunday Blick reported that a member of the Young Tat had collaborated on election posters for the Young SVP Thurgau. Marco Bortoluzzi, President of the Young SVP of the Canton of Thurgau, confirmed to the news agency Keystone-SDA that the person is a member of the cantonal youth party. The party is distancing itself from the politics of the "Young Tat". A board meeting is expected to take place in October: "There we will discuss a party exclusion," said Bortoluzzi.
